LA Man Who Doxxed ICE Agents, Revealed Raid Locations Now Faces Potential Charges

A Los Angeles man, Jack Quillin, is under scrutiny for potentially facing criminal charges after allegedly using his “LAScanner” account on X to expose the locations and identities of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Quillin’s actions reportedly enabled rioters to coordinate attacks against federal agents during ongoing immigration enforcement operations. The violence began Friday night in the LA fashion district, where federal officers were assaulted by a mob and trapped in a federal building for over two hours before local police intervened. Attacks continued Saturday in Paramount, with ICE agents injured by rocks thrown at moving vehicles. The LAScanner account not only revealed ICE staging areas in real time but also doxxed individual agents—disclosing their names,

home addresses, and even hotel accommodations. Quillin, who has a prior felony stalking conviction, appeared to acknowledge running the account before deactivating it Saturday night. Despite expressing regret and stating he never intended to incite violence, Quillin’s posts often exacerbated tensions, such as one predicting potential fatalities during the riots. After deleting the account, he issued a public apology and announced he had contacted authorities to accept responsibility and cooperate with any legal proceedings.

As investigations continue, attention has turned to the groups behind the unrest. Reports suggest involvement by CHIRLA, a well-funded immigrant rights organization, and other activists, some allegedly linked to the Chinese Communist Party. CHIRLA, which vocally opposes ICE operations, received significant government funding during the Biden administration. The situation underscores growing concerns about coordinated interference in federal law enforcement and the potential misuse of taxpayer funds.
