The Housewife’s Secret to Eliminating Bed Bugs from Your Home

Bed bugs can be a nuisance when they invade your home, especially during temperature changes. They often enter through open doors or windows and are more common near parks, gardens, or rural areas. Bed bugs prefer hiding in warm places like curtains or damp laundry. Although harmless to health, they can annoy and damage plants, and their crushed bodies release a foul smell.

To prevent an infestation, inspect curtains, laundry, and hidden areas like chandeliers and plant pots. Simple remedies include using white vinegar and tea tree oil in laundry to repel bed bugs, placing basil near entry points, sealing gaps around windows, and spreading powders like baking soda or talcum powder. Regular cleaning helps keep kitchens free of bed bugs.
