Three bodies have been recovered following a mudslide near Lillooet, British Columbia, according to the RCMP. The search operations took place over several days, with one individual found deceased on Wednesday and two more located on Thursday. B.C. Chief Coroner Lisa Lapointe confirmed the details in a statement released on Saturday.

Efforts to locate a fourth man reported missing after the mudslide continued on Friday but were unsuccessful, leaving one person still unaccounted for. Rescue teams have been working diligently, but the challenging conditions have complicated the search and recovery process. The incident highlights the dangers posed by natural disasters in the region and the ongoing risks to those living near vulnerable areas.
