A Yale University team recently identified a new condition called “post-vaccination syndrome” (PVS), linked to the mRNA Covid vaccines. Symptoms include brain fog, dizziness, tinnitus, extreme fatigue, and immune system changes. Dr. Akiko Iwasaki, lead researcher, hopes the study will improve diagnosis, treatment, and transparency regarding vaccine safety. While PVS is not yet medically recognized, Dr. Iwasaki plans further research to better understand its prevalence and impact.
The CDC continues to recommend Covid vaccinations, especially for vulnerable populations, despite ongoing reports of side effects. Victims like Kari Ponce de Leon, who developed severe blood conditions after receiving the Pfizer vaccine, have found little explanation for their symptoms. Ponce de Leon, who had no prior health issues, experienced bleeding and platelet dysfunction after her vaccine and underwent months of treatment.
Dr. Iwasaki’s research is part of Yale’s LISTEN study, which explores both PVS and long Covid, with ongoing efforts to address these emerging health concerns.
