Only four years ago, Cole Prochaska “weighed as much as three men.” After trading his 5,000-calorie a day diet for a pair of sneakers, the 41-year-old man walked his way to a dramatic weight loss, proudly revealing he is now the size of “one person.”
In 2021, Prochaska weighed over 585 pounds, the highest number the scale could measure. He had been heavy since he was six, living a sedentary lifestyle and overeating, including gorging on chips and fast food. His daily calorie intake was around 5,000.
Prochaska began his transformation by walking, starting with a few blocks and gradually building a daily routine of at least 10,000 steps. He overhauled his diet, cutting out junk food and focusing on high-protein meals. By 2023, he lost 360 pounds but still faces challenges with excess skin. He’s raised funds for skin removal surgery, continuing to inspire others with his journey.
