He shared that “a number of European leaders” have contacted him for guidance and added that while he’s not officially involved in politics, he is still “giving advice.”
During his conversation with SHRM President Johnny Taylor, Biden emphasized the importance of American leadership in global matters, saying, “If America doesn’t lead the world, who can?” He also mentioned that members from both political parties still reach out to “bounce things off” of him. At one point, Biden abruptly stated, “I’m also laying rubber with my ’67 Corvette on my driveway,” a comment that sparked confusion and criticism online.
