This actor went from $150 a month to running a farm with his famous wife

The iconic actor you’re referring to is Kevin Bacon. He started with humble beginnings, living in a rundown New York apartment and working odd jobs to support his dream of acting.

After moving to New York from Philadelphia in 1976, he spent months crashing on his sister’s couch before finding an affordable “artist’s residence” through a Village Voice ad. He shared the space with a classical pianist for four years and even performed in productions at the Circle in the Square Theater School.

Despite starting with very little, Bacon’s dedication to acting and creativity shaped his career, which later led him to a successful life away from the hustle and bustle of New York, living peacefully on a farm with his family.
