Trump Picks Dan Bongino To Be FBI Deputy Director

President Donald Trump has announced that Dan Bongino will be the next Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Trump shared the news on his Truth Social account, praising Bongino’s background in law enforcement, psychology, and business, as well as his successful career as a podcaster. Trump highlighted Bongino’s dedication to serving the country and working with key figures like Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director Kash Patel.

Bongino thanked Trump, Bondi, and Patel on X (formerly Twitter). Meanwhile, Senator Adam Schiff criticized Patel’s appointment, calling him untrustworthy and lacking integrity.

Following Patel’s confirmation, he expressed his commitment to rebuilding the FBI’s public trust, ensuring transparency, and restoring justice. Patel emphasized his mission to support law enforcement and protect Americans.
