Gene Hackman’s Funeral Arrangements Prepared Before His Death Revealed — Details

Gene Hackman’s family revealed surprising details about his funeral arrangements shortly after his passing on February 26, 2025. His nephew, Tim Hackman, shared that the family had initially planned for Hackman’s wife, Betsy Arakawa, to handle his funeral arrangements due to their 31-year age gap. At the time of their deaths, Betsy was 63, and Gene was 95.

However, with their unexpected deaths, those plans were disrupted. Tim speculated that one of Gene’s children might take over the arrangements, but it remains uncertain.

The couple’s sudden passing was shocking to the family, as they were unaware of any serious health issues. Tim described Betsy as Gene’s primary caregiver, helping him live to 95.

The investigation into their deaths continues, with authorities examining unsettling details, including scattered pills near Betsy’s body and the mysterious death of their dog.
