Hurricane Erin Sparks Major Coastal Warnings After Rapid Intensification
Hurricane Erin has prompted widespread warnings across the U.S. East Coast, the Bahamas, and Atlantic Canada after undergoing rapid intensification. Originally classified as a Category 1 storm, Erin surged to a rare and dangerous Category 5 within just 24 hours, alarming meteorologists and coastal residents alike.
