Russia releases shocking statement after Trump accuses Zelenskyy of ‘gambling with WW3’

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev lashed out at Ukrainian President Zelenskyy after his heated encounter with Donald Trump.

In a post on X, Medvedev referred to Zelenskyy as an “insolent pig” and supported Trump’s claim that the Ukrainian leader is “gambling with World War III.” Russian officials, including Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, also weighed in, praising Trump’s restraint in handling Zelenskyy, with Zakharova criticizing the Ukrainian president for his dishonesty and accusing him of being “unpleasant with everyone.”

Despite the criticism, Zelenskyy stood his ground, stating that he did not believe his actions were wrong. He is scheduled to meet with Keir Starmer in London on March 2 to discuss peace efforts in Ukraine.
